The outdoor gym is essential, in more ways than one. If you are into fitness, then the chances are that you visit the local gym regularly, to try out a few reps. That’s fine, but you may find that exercising outdoors the better option than staying copped for hours with strangers, in a sweaty, dirty room. The fact is that an outdoors gym provides you with fresh air, natural light – both of which are essential for your health. But the good news is that you do not have to spend on costly and expensive gym equipment to set up your fitness center. Instead, you can opt to try out a few simple exercises by which you can exercise your whole body. Check out these simple reps that you can carry out, in your backyard
Hit The Sands
If you happen to reside by the beach, then there’s no reason as to why you need to head out to a gym or even pay hundreds of Dollars in Gym membership. Instead, you can go ahead and try out a few simple exercises – right on the beach. When it comes to beach sand, you would have to expend twice the amount of force to create the momentum. For example, it would take you twice as long to walk the same distance on beach sand, then you would on the tarmac. As a result, even simple workouts on the beach tend to burn more calories. Try out simple workout sessions such as squats – you will find that even a few reps can leave you breathing hard and exhausted.
Outdoor Gym And Pushups
You can also try out simple pushups in your backyard. First, you may want to squat, and then slowly stretch your legs, until your body is suspended above the ground with your whole weight resting on hands and the tips of your toes. Now, slowly lower your body, until your nose is almost touching the ground. Then, lift yourself, while directing the force towards your hands so that the rest of your body rests on your hands and toes. This is a push up; you may want to try out 20 pushups at the start and slowly increase the number of reps, and it should help you to develop better stamina as well as to develop your upper body strength. And you can even alter the pushups to one leg pushups, to make your workouts more challenging
Create Your Own
If you have a large backyard and space, then you can go ahead and set up your gym. Just make sure that the gym floor is reinforced since you would be using the same to lift weights. The flooring must be even, reinforced, and it must also contain rubber mats, to help cushion your body. You can go ahead and set up a pushup chin-up bar, parallel bars, benches, and more. You do not need to go overboard setting up your gym – just set it up with a few essentials, and that should do the trick.
